PM Modi advances meeting with Union council of ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over a meeting of the Union council of ministers at 6.30 pm today, to brief them about his government's success in infrastructure areas like power, coal, civil aviation, shipping and national highways.   

Strict instructions have been sent out from the PMO that today's meeting will be interactive in  approach, and questions will be asked by junior ministers of their seniors.   

It is an exercise PM Modi carries out every third Wednesday. But since he has other appointments tomorrow, the PMO  has advanced the monthly review meeting by a day.    

Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj is also expected to brief the Union council about the Brussels terror attacks, with updates about the safety and security of the Indian  mission and also Indians living in and around Brussels.
