Woman in paramilitary uniform held near Pathankot cantonment

A woman was on Friday arrested after she was found roaming in paramilitary force uniform near the cantonment area in Pathankot, police said.
The woman, identified as Raminder Kaur, was roaming near the Tank Chowk here wearing force uniform following which army personnel detained her and handed her over to the police, Pathankot SSP R K Bakshi said.
A case has been registered against the woman under Sections 171 (misuse of uniform), 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, he said.
Police also recovered logos of Punjab Police and the Border Security Force while frisking her, he said.
The woman claimed that she was 25 years old but police suspect her to be more than 45 years, Bakshi said, adding 'we are verifying her antecedents'.
The woman will also undergo a medical examination on Saturday to find out if she is suffering from any mental illness, he added.
