Apparently sidelined senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha, who had served as finance minister in former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's cabinet, will hold an orientation programme for Delhi finance minister, finance secretary and MLAs on state's budget and its process on Tuesday.

Delhi government officials had earlier approached the former finance minister seeking his directions on making the budget.

An invitation by the Delhi assembly to BJP veteran Yashwant Sinha -- to conduct a 'budget workshop' for MLAs -- had created a flutter in political circles, with speculation about the sidelined BJP leader being wooed by the AAP.

However, functionaries of the assembly maintained that such workshops with political leaders across party lines have been routinely held in the past.
