India denies permission to 5 Pak diplomats for Kolkata T20

Just in: India refuses permission to five Pakistani diplomats to travel to Kolkata for the March 19 India-Pakistan World Twenty20 match. India has denied clearance saying the diplomats belong to the ISI and defence. The MEA says two other diplomats have been cleared to travel to India.


India's Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan to be summoned by Pak MOFA over denial of travel permits to the five Pakistani officials.


A thick security blanket has been thrown around Eden Gardens and the hotel, where the Pakistan cricket team has been staying, in view of threat to the match.
