Delhi minister wrote to Parrikar about helping Art Of Living event

Delhi government's tourism minister Kapil Mishra had written to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar requesting for army's help to build additional pontoon bridge for the World Culture Festival, organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, reports the website janatakareporter.com.

In his letter reproduced by the website, Mishra wrote: 'We have learnt that the Army is making 1 pontoon bridge for the festival. This is not adequate for safe movement of the large gathering of people hence we request the Army for building at least 1 more pontoon bridge over River Yamuna during the World Culture Festival. The construction of more than would obviously be extremely useful and much appreciated.'
