Cops detain Trupti Desai en route Nashik temple

Activist Trupti Desai, who was on her way to Trimbakeshwar Temple with around 150-200 women, has been detained by the police.

Condemning the police action, Desai said, "We've been detained for no reason, we were heading to Trimbakeshwar temple in a peaceful manner."

Questioning Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Desai asked,"Where is the CM? We want him to intervene and allow us entry into Trimbakeshwar temple."

She also attacked the PM saying,"Is this what 'acchhe din' meant?"
