BJP MLA sent to jail for thrashing engineer in Kota

Bharatiya Janta Party ward member of Rangbadi area and nephew of BJP MLA Phralad Gunjal, Om Gunjal was arrested and sent behind bars for fifteen days after he allegedly thrashed a junior engineer of Jaipur Vidut Vitran Nigam Limited in Mahavir Nagar area of Kota in Rajasthan.

The junior engineer suffered from a broken arm after he was thrashed by Gunjal, following which he registered a complaint in Mahavir Nagar police station.

The police have filed a case against Gunjal on the charges of obstruction of government work and violence.
