Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered, inter alia, a blistering attack on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha yesterday.

But, but, did it prove that Gandhi, who had mounted a full-scale attack on the PM the previous day in the Lower House, had managed to get under the PM's skin?

Journalist Sankarshan Thakur suggests so, when he writes in The Telegraph, Kolkata: 'The Prime Minister was still raging when he finished, his splayed palms quivering. Rahul Gandhi has begun to smile. The arrows he'd flung yesterday had caused injury where he meant it. The insult that came his way today was merely its consequence.'
