PM to meet his ministers tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will meet tomorrow afternoon at 7 Racecourse Road to formulate and finalise the Cabinet reshuffle.

The Union Cabinet meets to pass key decisions (like a hike in salary for Central government employees) which is when Narendra Modi is expected to speak to a few Union Ministers personally.

The Cabinet on Wednesday is likely to approve higher increase in basic pay than the nearly 15 per cent recommended by the 7th Pay Commission for over 1 crore (Rs 10 million) government employees and pensioners.

Meanwhile, for the first time, Amit Shah will visit the Nehru Museum in New Delhi and inaugurate an exhibition on Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee  A Selfless Patriot at 11 am tomorrow at Teen Murti Bhawan, Nehnru's former residence. Mookerjee is the founder of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh, which later evolved into the BJP.
