Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn loses no confidence vote

Labour MPs have passed a motion of no confidence in leader Jeremy Corbyn by 172 votes to 40, with four abstentions.

In a statement after the vote, Labour issues a statement saying: 'The Parliamentary Labour Party has accepted the following motion -- That this PLP has no confidence in Jeremy Corbyn as Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party.'

According to the BBC, the 'names in the frame' to possibly challenge Jeremy Corbyn are Tom Watson and Angel Eagle.
