President meets war widows

President Pranab Mukherjee met war widows of slain soldiers of 8 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (Siachen) at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday.

The 8 JAK LI is organising a pilgrimage tour for these war widows from Rashtrapati Bhavan to Rishikesh, Haridwar and Badrinath to commemorate the 30th year of the recapture of Bana Top, the highest peak in the Siachen area.
