When Pudu CM met PM Modi

While on V Narayanaswamy, the Puducherry CM met Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his cabinet colleagues on Wednesday.

Modi jocularly told Narayanaswamy that he used to be in the adjacent room and now he was a chief minister. The PM was referring to the time when Narayanaswamy was MoS in the Dr Manmohan Singh government. Narayanaswamy proudly stated that he and Prithivraj Chavan were both MoS in Dr Singh's ministry and both had been promoted to chief ministers. Chavan has been the CM of Maharashtra.

Narayanaswamy later told his friends that it was indeed destiny that having once Modi, he has to now seek funds for his state.
