India's membership in the nuclear club was raised on the first day of the key NSG meet in Seoul, it "may be discussed" again tonight, say reports.

India's bid for inclusion may be discussed when the group meets again tonight.

As New Delhi makes an all-out effort to clinch its membership in the club that controls access to nuclear technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tashkent later today is also being watched closely.

PM Modi and President Xi are to meet on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. The PM is expected to seek China's support as Beijing remains firmly opposed to India's admission.
