June 19, 2016  16:18
Police in Brussels have evacuated a major train station after two suspect suitcases were found there, a day after Belgian authorities charged three men with "attempted terrorist murder" linked to a reported plot to attack fans during a Euro 2016 football game.

The Gare Centrale and the adjacent Carrefour de l'Europe square were cleared at midday as police moved in to inspect the abandoned luggage. Belgian officials indicated on Saturday that a terror attack on supporters watching Euro 2016 had been foiled with just hours to spare.
