Jharkhand: CRPF jawan killed in ongoing encounter with Naxals

A CRPF jawan was on Friday killed in an ongoing encounter with Naxals in Pirtand area of Giridih district in Jharkhand.

CRPF Inspector General Sanjay Anand Lathkar said the jawan died in the encounter and his body was being brought to Giridih.

Superintendent of Police, Giridih, Akhilesh B Verior has rushed to the spot.
