Mathura kingpin died in violence: UP DGP

The main accused of Mathura violence Rambriksh Yadav has been confirmed dead in the riots as his body was identified on Saturday by his associates.

"Rambriksh Yadav's body has been identified by his associates. His family has been intimated for final confirmation," Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Javeed Ahmad said.

Rambriksh Yadav was the main suspect behind the violence which took place during an anti-encroachment drive by Police in Mathura. Other leaders of the sect -- Chandan Gaur and Rakesh Gupta -- are also among main suspects.
