Curfew continues in Kashmir valley for 22nd consecutive day

Curfew and restrictions continued for the 22nd consecutive day across the Kashmir valley on Saturday following protests over the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani.

Security forces have blocked all the roads as the resistance camp extended their shutdown call till July 31.

The security forces blocked all the main roads for maintaining law and order across the Valley.

The Supreme Court on Friday declined to entertain a plea seeking Governors rule in Jammu and Kashmir under the provision of JK constitution, due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
