Samajwadi Party MP Amar Singh will host a lunch for Congress MP Jairam Ramesh and fimlstar Dimple Khanna.


Here's how it came to pass.

Singh who is now active in the Central Hall of Parliament was seen today talking to Ramesh and the topic of discussion veered away frpom politics into general knowledge.


Amar Singh said that Dr Karan Singh, the sitting Rajya Sabha MP was a Union Minister in the Jawaharlal Nehru cabinet.

Ramesh said, no, Dr Singh was in the Indira Gandhi cabinet and quoted many books as proof.

But Amar Singh stood his ground and the two went on to lay a wager. Loser has to host the winner to lunch.

Both Jairam Ramesh and Amar Singh went up to Dr Karan Singh and asked him.

Ramesh won the bet and is now awaiting lunch with the lovely Dimple Khanna.
