What may not go down well with the opposition benches and could hurt the smooth running of Parliament is a new effort to shame those members and parties who disrupt the proceedings of the House to protest against moves or legislations that they do not agree with.

A Times of India report citing government sources said there is a plan to have a new daily index of disruptions in Parliament, during sessions and name the disrupter of the day or the party which has created the most obstructions in the House on a given day.

While it is not a government effort, a private agency is working on monitoring the disruptions and protests in the House and planning to bring out the names of those who have been most active on this count on a daily basis.

This move could be welcomed by the government which has been blaming every failure to pass a legislation on opposition parties saying they are obstructive and are against the development of the country and are hence blocking reform and other moves.
