Pema Khandu will be sworn-in as the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh in Itanagar at 12 pm today. Khandu staked claim to power on the basis of support of 45 party MLAs along with two Independents in yesterday's floor test where he replaced Nabam Tuki.

Khandu will be the youngest chief minister of India among all incumbents.
Khandu, 36, the eldest son of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Dorjee Khandu who passed away while in office on May 20, 2011 in a helicopter crash, is a graduate from the prestigious Hindu College under Delhi University.
