Man accused of Turkish coup calls for international probe
July 17, 2016  10:33
Self-exiled Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen, who Turkey's president has accused of orchestrating a failed coup denied any responsibility and called for an international probe and said that he would accept the findings.

He said it was possible that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan actually plotted the coup himself as an excuse for payback against his political enemies. "There is a slight chance, there is a possibility that it could be a staged coup," Gulen was quoted as saying, adding, "It could be meant for court accusations and associations."
