We will destroy Islamic State: Obama

United States President Barack Obama on Friday said the US will destroy the terrorist organization Islamic State and said the idea of 'testing' Muslims in the US is 'repugnant'.

While hosting diplomatic corps at the White House, Obama said, "We are going to destroy this vile terrorist organization. We cannot let ourselves be divided by religion because that's exactly what the terrorists want."

"Today, our hearts are with the people of France and with all the innocent men, women and children," he said. Obama also said that suggestions to target Muslims after Nice attack is repugnant.

"The hatred and the violence of a few ultimately is no match for the love and decency and hardwork of people of goodwill," he added.
