42 killed so far in Turkey's military coup attempt

Local media in Turkey has reported that many people have been killed in Ankara as some army groups staged an attempted coup. The prosecutor's office, it is learnt, was quoted by NTV as stating that 42 people, of who 17 were police and the rest were civilians, have been killed in Ankara so far.
