Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who underwent an open-heart surgery in London a month back, will return to Pakistan today on a special plane.

"Prime Minister will Insha'Allah be arriving in the evening. Allah has been Kind. Indebted for your kind prayers & wishes," Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif tweeted.

The Pakistan International Airlines announced deputing a "dedicated aircraft" for London to bring the prime minister and his London camp office back to Pakistan.

The Prime Minister's wife, two sons and daughter Maryam will also return along with him.

Sharif was discharged from hospital on June 6 after he underwent an open-heart surgery on May 31. The 66-year-old PML-N leader had gone to London on May 22 for a regular medical checkup but was diagnosed with a heart complication by doctors who suggested surgery.
