These are the changes announced in the portfolios of the Union Council of Ministers today.

Prakash Javadekar, who was elevated to Cabinet, gets HRD portfolio. Smriti Irani shifted from HRD Ministry to Textiles Ministry.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley sheds Information and Broadcasting portfolio.

M Venkaiah Naidu gets Information and Broadcasting in addition to Urban Development.

IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad gets additional charge as Law and Justice.

Anant Kumar gets Parliamentary affairs which was with M Venkaiah Naidum in addition to Chemicals and Fertilisers.

D V Sadananda Gowda shifted from Law Ministry to Statistics and Programme Implementation.
