Punjab govt declares holiday on Lala Lajpat Rais birthday on Jan 28

The Punjab government is on holiday today to mark the 150 birth anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai. According to an official spokesman of the government, all Punjab government offices, boards, corporations and educational institutions would remain closed.
