Prez Mukherjee asks Cong not to disrupt parliament

President Pranab Mukherjee has sent out an emotional message to the Congress not to disrupt Parliament proceedings during the upcoming budget session. The message was sent when the president received the first copy of the second part of his autobiography from Vice President Hamid Ansari today.

The president, meanwhile, has said that he has willed his daughter Sushmitha Mukherjee to be the custodian of his diary. The diary which is at least 8200 pages was written over 10 years. Some of the entries are believed to be top secret and he has instructed his daughter not to make it public. The president is bound by secrecy laws.

The President hosted high tea at the Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan for dignitaries who attended the book release. Senior BJP leader L K Advani and the president spent over 15 minutes talking about the book.
