CEC to meet for planning 5-state polls

The Conference of Chief Electoral Officers of 29 states is being held at the Election Commission for a routine review of pending issues. Focus is being given to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal and Assam -- the five states which are going to the polls this year -- for the the deployment of central forces and to ensure vigilance over black money power in these states.
