Master strategist Prashant Kishor to manage Amarinder Singh's campaign

Star election strategist Prashant Kishor, who managed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and was responsible for Nitish's election in Bihar, will be managing the Congress campaign for the assembly elections in Punjab. "Yes, I am doing the campaign strategy for Captain Amarinder Singh and the decision was taken after a series of meetings with him," Kishor said.

The Congress has been out of power in Punjab for the last nine years, having been defeated twice by ruling Akali-BJP combine. Assembly elections in the state will be held in 2017.
