Islamic State confirms Jihadi John is dead

A media outlet associated with terror group Islamic State has released a eulogy Mohammed Emwazi, known as 'Jihadi John'.

Emwazi was described in Isis's Dabiq magazine by his nickname in the group, 'Abu Muharib al-Muhajir'.

Dabiq said he died 'as the car he was in was targeted in a strike by an unmanned drone in the city of Raqqa, destroying the car and killing him instantly'.

The terrorist became notorious for his filmed executions of hostages.
