HRD official who wrote to VC on Rohith says it was his job

Here's more on the Rohith Vemula's suicide: Subodh Kumar Ghildiyal, the deputy secretary at the HRD ministry who wrote the letter to the vice-chancellor of Hyderabad Central University, when asked by Rediff.com what he meant by "anti-national activities', asked us to refer to the minister's (Smriti Irani) statement today about alleged anti-national activities at the Hyderabad Central University.

Ghildiyal said he had nothing to say in the matter but when asked why he had signed the letter, he said that was his job.
