Indian-American Bobby Jindal has demitted his office as Louisiana Governor after the end of his second four year term.

Jindal, 44, was replaced by John Bel Edwards of the Democratic Party, who was won the elections last November.

In 2008, Jindal was sworn in as Governor of Louisiana, becoming the first ever Indian-American to hold the top position. In an interview over the weekend, Jindal did not rule out running for any other elected position.

As for now, he has decided to work with a think-tank America Next.
