Focus on resolving situation, premature to say anything: MEA

External Affairs Ministry today said it was "premature" to say anything now given that the security operation at Pathankot, where the air base was attacked by Pakistani terrorists, was still on.

"On #PathankotAttack : Operations continuing, immediate focus on resolving situation -- premature to say anything more at this point," the MEA Spokesperson tweeted.

The tweet came amid a raging debate over the possible impact of today's terror strike on Indo-Pak dialogue which had got a fillip after a surprise visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Lahore last week to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
