The Pakistani singer of 'Kabhi to Nazar Milao' and 'Lift Kara De' fame has finally been granted Indian citizenship on humanitarian grounds.

Following the representation submitted by Adnan to Home Ministry on May 26, 2015 his Indian citizenship will be with effect from January 1, 2016.
