India will raise Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar's detention issue with the Pakistan investigation team which will be visiting the country in connections with the Pathankot terror attack.

"We have carefully noted the comments made (by Sartaz Aziz, advisor to Pakistan PM) on Maulana Masood Azhar. I think it will be a subject of discussion once the SIT visits India," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup told ANI.

He further said that India was awaiting a firm proposal from Pakistan on 'dates and composition' of the Special Investigation Team and only after that security agencies will decide what all places will be visited by the team.

During a TV interview recently, Aziz had said Masood Azhar and a few other JeM operatives, have been kept under protective custody and that some of the terror outfit's premises have also been sealed
