Sartaz Aziz, advisor to Pakistan PM NAwaz Sharif, has rejected India's charge of no action over the Pathankot attack and claimed that Masood Azhar has been under detention since January 14.

Last week, Pakistan registered an FIR in connection with the Pathankot terror attack. The FIR, however, had no mention of Jaish-e-Mohammad boss Masood Azhar, who masterminded the January 2 strike.

Despite ample evidence provided by New Delhi, Islamabad has failed to act against the perpetrators of the pre-dawn attack on the Indian Air Force base, located just 150 km from the Pakistan border.

In an interview with India Today's Karan Thapar, Sartaz Aziz, Advisor to Pakistan PM, rejected India's charge of no action over Pathankot and claimed that Masood Azhar has been under detention since January 14.

"The FIR is only a first stage report and subsequent FIRs will definitely carry names," Aziz said.
