Vikram Singh Chauhan, the lawyer who led the attacks on the media and on JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar at the Patiala House court, has revealed that the cops present at the premises stood by as they launched an assault on the people. Yashpal Singh, the other lawyer caught on camera attacking media persons, said that he didn't care about going to jail and that he had also planned to throw a petrol bomb.
