4 railway workers killed by oncoming train in Mumbai

Four contract labourers working with the railways were killed while crossing tracks between Kurla and Vidyavihar, early on Friday. The incident took place around 6.3 0am on slow track number 2.

Railway police officials said the four workers stayed nearby. 

They were crossing tracks when they were hit by Karjat-CST Up local. They were taken to the Rajawadi hospital where all were declared dead. The Kurla GRP has recorded accidental death cases.

The quartet was identified as Gokul, 18, Shravan, 18, Nana, 27, and Kashinath, 19. The bodies have been sent for an autopsy.
