Sushma-led delegation in Nepal for Koirala's funeral

External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj arrives at a stadium in Kathmandu where the mortal remains of former Nepal PM Sushil Koirala is being kept for public viewing.
Swaraj led an all-party delegation to Nepal for the funeral of Koirala, who passed away early in the day.
"Together with Nepal, at its time of loss. Minister Swaraj is leading an all-party delegation for funeral of former Koirala," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
The delegation comprised Congress leader Anand Sharma, JD(U) President Sharad Yadav, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Koirala, who was the Prime Minister of Nepal from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015, died due to pneumonia at his residence early today. He was 79.
