President Mukherjee, PM Modi attend International Fleet Review

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived late on Friday night in Vishakhapatnam for the International Fleet Review. He was welcomed and received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandhra Babu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan at Visakhapatnam Airport. 

Around 90 ships of the Indian Navy are participating in the event. Over 50 countries participating in the mega maritime meet. 

The 5-day event began on Thursday with the inauguration of maritime exhibition and IFR village. The main event will take place on Saturday when the supreme commander of the three forces, President Pranab Mukherjee will review the naval fleet. During the review, navy will showcase its capability and technical superiority.
