5 prisoners escape from Bihar's Buxar jail

Five prisoners fled from the Buxar jail in Bihar. According to reports, of those who escaped, one had capital punishment, three were serving life terms and one was on trial.

Buxars central jail is infamous for alleged discrepancies and infighting between inmates. Days ago, several newspapers have reported that inmates here are bein provided with facilities they arent eligible for. In a raid, eight mobile phones were recovered from prisoners.
