When Thambidurai wanted to be Panneerselvam's translator

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is upset with Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai for seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister along with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. Thambidurai wanted to be the translator for Pannerselvam, but the PMO was of the view that Thambidurai had crossed the line of protocol. It is believed that he has antagonised the BJP and in particular the PMO and insiders in the income tax department whisper that there may be trouble ahead for a few AIADMK MPs who went against the law.
