Rs 1.5 crore in new notes seized from Guwahati bizman

Crime Investigation Department in a search operation seized over Rs 1.54 crore in new currency notes from the residence of a businessman in Guwahati.

"The person and money have been handed over to the I-T department. They will carry out further probe. The source of money is yet to be ascertained," Superintendent of Police Nirmal Vasiya told ANI.
