Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Dr. Prathap C. Reddy offers his condolence on the demise of Jayalalitha.

"While she's no longer with us, she would continue to live in our hearts. I join the country in mourning her loss," he said.

Jayalalithaa was admitted to hospital on September 22 with complaints of "fever and dehydration."

Reddy had recently said Jayalalithaa was in good health and was speaking using a valve attached to the tracheostomy tube.
