Haryana minister Anil Vij donates Rs 50 lakh to Dera chief for sports

Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij has donated Rs 50 lakh for sports to Dera Saccha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh from his discretionary fund.

Those Rs 50 lakh I gave was from my discretionary fund and I had the right to do so, the minister was quoted as saying by ANI.

In a video released by ANI, Vij is seen addressing a Tiranga Rumal Chhu programme in Sirsa in the presence of Singh. He praised the Dera chiefs efforts to establish sports facilities and announced an aid of Rs 50 lakh amid applauses and cheers.
