Actor Ramya booked for sedition for 'Pakistan not hell' remark

Film actor-turned-politician Ramya, who was on social media for her "Pakistan is not hell' remark, has also been booked for sedition. The complaint accused Ramya of "insulting India" and "provoking the people of India" by "appreciating Pakistan, which is a traditional enemy of India".

According to a Kannada news channel, Ramya describing her Islamabad visit to attend a SAARC Young Parliamentarians Conference in August, said, "Minister Manohar Parrikar said that going to Pakistan is like going to hell.
