Disappointed with Centre & state: Omar Abdullah after meeting President

Omar Abdullah and other Opposition leaders from Jammu and Kashmir met the President this afternoon to apprise him of the situation in the troubled state. 

The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that the leaders and he were troubled that the state government had not taken any steps to stop the violence, which has already claimed over 45 lives and injured over 3,000. 

"The initiatives that should have been taken up by state government are being taken by the opposition. We are disappointed with the Centre and state," said Abdullah after his meeting with President Mukherjee.
