Cheating, criminal conspiracy charges framed against ex-coal secretary

A special court today framed charges of cheating and criminal conspiracy against former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and five others in a coal block case. The Court has also framed charges against ex-joint secretary in Ministry of Coal (MoC) K S Kropha and the then Director (CA-I) in MoC, K C Samria. Vikash Metals and Power Ltd has also been charged with the same offences.
