Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk: tweets US Ambassador to India

US Ambassador to India Rich Verma responded to Shah Rukh Khan whilst referring to his detention at the Los Angeles International Airport.

'Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk. We are working to ensure it doesn't happen again. Your work inspires millions, including in the US,' Verma tweeted after news broke of SRK's detention.

In response, SRK tweeted: "No trouble sir, respect the protocol & not expecting 2 b above it. Its just a tad inconvenient. Thx for ur concern."

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was "detained" at an United States airport; the third time in seven years that he has been stopped by US immigration officials at the country's airports.
