Pakistan cricket legend Mohammad Hanif passes away

Former Test cricketer and batting legend Hanif Mohammad breathed his last in a local hospital in Karachi on Thursday. The legendary cricketer, who was dubbed as 'The Little Master', died at the age of 81. 

Hanif Mohammad was admitted to hospital a week ago and as per the doctors, his condition was critical. He was diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

Earlier in the day, was declared clinically dead for six minutes on Thursday before he was revived back to life at the Aga Khan hospital.

Hanif's son, Shoaib Muhammad first announced from the hospital on various television channels that his father had passed away after losing a protracted battle with various ailments due to which doctors had put the former legend on a ventilator. But few minutes later it was announced that Hanif had not passed away and was alive.
